A few days ago, the Venezuelan dictatorship hastily installed a Constituent Assembly to rule the country as a classic dictatorship of the proletariat. They got this done through a colossal electoral fraud, under the pressured steamed by four months of internal turmoil, US government sanctions to infamous public officers and the disavowal of roughly all of Latin America and Western Europe. Meanwhile, Venezuelans still struggle to survive or die in the streets defending their right to have a future and to enjoy freedom.
A significant part of those 124 killed by the weapons of the resentment promoted by Chavismo were kids between 14 and 17 years old. I introduce you to Neomar Lander, one of those boys assassinated by hate. As many of his peers, he didn’t know anything different than Chavismo but, still, he believed in the same thing that most of us believe in: Liberty.
